AJ (they/he) is a third-year MFA candidate at Texas State University pursuing their Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre. He graduated from Western Michigan University in 2023 with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technical Production, with an emphasis in Lighting Design.

They were recently awarded the National Lighting Design Award at the American College Theater Festival for their design of Small Mouth Sounds.

When not working on his next design, he enjoys reading a good book, watching movies, spending time with their cat, or adventuring to a new coffee shop.
